Microsoft has introduced a buggy change into Excel.   See https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/39432356 on how to work around their mistake.

While the change itself is arguably ok, the fact it doesn't tell the user why it's losing their data and forcing them to use workarounds most certainly is a bug

I am having the same problem for almost a week now.  I need to know how to fix it as the information is used in various reports.
