What is the difference in cost between an archived project and an active project?

We want to archive some projects that aren't in use. Is this cheaper to maintain than keeping the projects active?

Costs of JIRA are based purely on the number of users, not projects.  So in terms of licence costs, it's irrelevant.

In terms of admin costs - archived projects won't make work for your admins.
