I am executing a JIRA Cloud-Server Migration including software and service desk, using the XML_Backup data (Simple export from Cloud and direct import into server instance). We also know, the Cloud version will always be advanced.

Meanwhile, I have gone through a statement in an article saying 'we can not import data to lower or different version of JIRA or Confluence'. Wasn't this contradictory? Cloud is always available in higher versions compared to my server edition.

My Server JIRA version: v7.3.1#73012-sha1:68837e3

Can someone please clarify the impact?
