We use the JIRA Server platform REST to search multiple times a day all the issues of one of our JIRA project in an iOS application. Because we have several applications deployed and configured with the same JIRA account, it represents about 10K requests a day. We use HTTP basic authentication to authenticate the requests.
Sometimes, the account gets locked and all the requests fail. I don't know how to go about finding out what's locking it.
I took a look at the JIRA log files using LastLog plugin but I didn't see any failed authentication. We changed the account used by the application several times and all got randomly locked. Sometimes a hour after, sometimes a week after …
How can I figure what's locking it ? Is a wrong password the only way to lock it ?
