Unable to delete a user who left our company

You generally should not delete users, just deactivate them.  Deleting them can have bad effects on your data and damage or destroy audit trails.

first remove user into groups and roles, deactivate the  user then remove the users.

if not delete once check  its in user directory  user or normal user if in user directory then you want delete in user Directory server.
