Hi,
We have a JIRA Software Cloud site where we support our addons.
The site is available for public signup.
Recently our customers cannot sign up because they receive the error message: "Unable to add access as there are no default groups for JIRA administration".
Do you know why JIRA requires a default group for JIRA Administration?
Default groups (access-jira and jira-users) to access JIRA are configurecd..
Any idea how we could fix this?
Thank you.
The problem is being worked on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-62479
This affects our customers too. I've raised a P1 ticket with Atlassian Support

Aha, I really should have searched here first and not just a general web search! Looks like they've rolled out a howler
