Timereport: only Measurement data in subtasks

Axel Holene May 22, 2017

Hi,

I'm trying to use EazyBI to create an analysis for tracking time spent on a given set of Jira tasks, with subtasks.

The issues are Stories cloned into our project space from the customers space, and are broken down into subtasks. They all carry the same Fix Version.

I'd like something like this

         Est. hours Hours spent DueDate
ISSUE 1
  SUBTASK1 10 8 someDate
  SUBTASK 20 12 someDate

ISSUE 2
  SUBTASK 1 5 8 someDate
  SUBTAKS 2 15 13 someDate

SUM 50 41

I've tried to add the Issue Dimension on Rows. This kinda works, though I get three levels, where _all_ of them include the given measurements. This makes the row sum, which I had hoped should provide simple info on how we're doing overall, wrong.

  1. All Issues with sub-tasks
  2. <name of our space>
  3. <name of task>, which would correspond to ISSUE in the example above

I was thinking of maybe using Calculated Members to avoid this, but I've spent hours trying to get something sensible, and I'm not able to do it.

So, question: How to display

  1. only the parent issues and subtasks, not the entire project
  2. no data in the measurements for the parent issues, only subtasks?

Any thoughts on the matter?
