Shouldnt be the output of this JQL be 0 Tasks?

Ankit Agarwal September 29, 2016

This JQL gives me around 350 issues.

Sprint in closedSprints() AND Sprint not in futureSprints() AND Sprint is not EMPTY AND StatusCategory in  ("To Do", "In Progress")

I have gone through the documentation of what happens when we complete an sprint. And my above JQL says to give me only those issues:-

  • Which are in CLOSED Sprints, and
  • Which have either in TODO or INPROGRESS status-category, and
  • Which are also NOT planned for any FUTURE Sprints, and
  • Which are also not there in my BackLog

So, this means, i have around 350 Open issues which are not in my Backlog or any futureSprints.

Hi Ankit,

Are you sure you don't have any active sprints?
