Sharing dashboards between two companies both with JIRA

Our scenario is this: two companies, each with their own JIRA instances. One is Atlassian JIRA cloud and one is on a the company's own servers. These companies both of multiple independent projects but are currently collaborating on one.

We would like for both organisations to be able to share a dashboard for this one project, while keeping their other projects isolated. Is this possible?

Looks like you need to synchronize one project in two distinct JIRA instances.

That might be possible with the help of an addon like Backbone, although I'm not sure whether or not it is currently feasible to synchronize JIRA Cloud with JIRA Server. Have a look at the docs.

If both instances can be synced in regard to that one project, then you will be able to create a couple of dashboards, one on each of those instances, with the same configuration, so that they show the same information.
