Session Timeout Jira 7

I want increase my session timeout to 3 days (4320 minutes). I adapt the settings in the web.xml (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira062/changing-the-default-session-timeout-588581487.html) but this does not work. I have Jira version 7.1.4.

I hope someone could help me with this annoying feature.

Hi Rob,

That's the right file in the documentation you linked to. Here's a couple troubleshooting steps:

  1. Open the file again to double-check that the changes were saved
  2. Restart JIRA (settings from in files on the filesystem are loaded at startup, so this has to happen if you make changes in files)

I checked it but it looks ok. Some my settings where preserved.
