Server Upgrade

We have JIRA 6.2 server and happy to upgrade to JIRA 6.4. what are the checks need to done before upgrading ? i.e. plugin compatibility

  1. Increase the JIRA RAM as per volumes of data.
  2. Increase the Plugin Time Out. as per number of plugins installed.
  3. Check the plugin Compatibility.
  4. Check the Database compatibility.
  5. Make sure backup of home and installation dir has been taken. and xml backup of jira.
