Search for issues by linktype

I have high-level issues which are implemented by other issues. I want to query for those issues (in Advanced Search or from Confluence) to find only issues that are linked with a particular linktype. I don't want anything requiredBy, or blockedBy. I have see "issues in linkedIssues(issueId, linkType)" but I can't figure out how to get  the linkType parameter to work. The query works fine without the linkType parameter, but returns too broad a result set.

Thanks!

Hello,

Go to the cog item -> Issues -> Issue linking and you will see the list of all links, which are set for your Jira instance. Then choose the link type you need. You have to provide to the linkedIssue function the Name of the link (it is the first column in the list of the links).
