ScriptRunner: After Downgrading from 4.1.3. to 3.1.3 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'query' of undefined

Marco Melas October 21, 2015

Hi,

after downgrading Scriptrunner add-on from 4.1.3 to 3.1.3 we see an error box in the Backlog view of the Scrum Boards in Jira Agile.

I started JIRA in safe-mode with "Agile" only: no error

Adding Scriptrunner 3.1.3 (or even 3.1.4) lets the error re-appear.

The exception is:

An error occurred
Please try refreshing the page, or contact your administrator / Atlassian Support if the problem continues.

Anyone else had this?

The downgrade was a manual downgrade as described in the JIRA documentation:

shutdown JIRA

delete old addon

insert new addon

start JIRA

Did I miss something?

Thanks for any pointers in resolving this.

Marco

I haven't seen that issue. What version of JIRA agile is it?

You can verify by disabling the script runner resources that add js to that page, you can see how here: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html#_insprint_board_name_sprint_name
