We have a requirement. When users are commenting on the issues in a project, they do not want all the comments to be visible to a list of users. They need some kind of control here. Preferably a checkbox which when checked will make the comments visible to those users. Can we achieve this? Is there any other way to get this done? Thanks.
When you put a "JIRA Comment", you will be provided with icons on the bottom of the comment box for several actions you can do and one of which is configuring its "Viewable Permission", which basically is who can view your comment. Try that.
I dont think this is possible in jira-cloud. Best option is to stick with issue security levels provided by JIRA out of the box which is to restrict permissions to the entire issue itself.
