Reopen Sprint option is greyed-out

I am trying to reopen a sprint following these steps:

But the "Reopen Sprint" option is greyed-out.  I have assigned myself the "Manage Sprints" permission, but this did not make a difference.  Any suggestions on how to get the "Reopen Sprint" option working for me?

Hi Stephen,

Do you have other active sprints in the board? If so, according to the documentation if you have the feature Parallel Sprints disabled, you won't be allowed to reopen the sprint

Thanka a bunch. I went through the complete documentation in atlassian confluence page for JIRA 7.3 but wasn't able to find a clue.

Thanks a bunch for the feedback Peter.  I missed that.  Once I enabled Parallel Sprints everything worked fine.
