Question on Edit permission on jira

Hi All

I have a specific requirement.

I want to make a project A read-only for users but retain the ability to link to Epics in Project A from other projects.

Is it possible?

My understanding is that ability to edit fields in an issue and ability to link to epic are both controlled by edit issue permission.

Hi Raul,

Link issue is a separate permission so you can remove create/edit etc. from the project and still link issues.
