We have projects with >500 users in various project roles. Is there a way to extract a list of users (either by role, or simply for the whole project) from within the UI? I know I can do it using the CLI, but this is something the project leads are going to need to get on a regular basis. Would be nice if they could do it themselves.

We are JIRA 7.1.9

Hi Bhushan,

But does the plugin support 7.1.9 version of JIRA?

You can export that information to customizable Excel reports based on this article. The information is encoded into an Excel cell in this format, but this can easily be customized to you needs:

  • Project roles: the list of project keys plus the user's roles in those, in a single searcheable, filterable cell. Ex: DROIDAPP: Developers, Users; IOSAPP: Developers, Users; WEB: Users;

And, if by "regularly" you meant "periodically", you can even make this 100% automatic
