Yes, you should be able to do that.
You could also try doing by using the membersOf function with a group name. For example:
status changed to ("Build Underway") by (membersOf("Email Marketing Team")) during (2020-07-01, 2020-07-31)
You could create a "dummy" group and place people in that group. Might be faster than adding several names directly to the filter.
