Ordering by fixVersion (alphabetically)

Jeremy Holovacs November 12, 2015

we have fixVersions as Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc, but when I run a JQL query with ORDER BY fixVersion, the associated issues are not organized by those names.  I'll get something like

    ISSUE-105 Charlie Do this thing

    ISSUE-100 Charlie Do this thing

    ISSUE-99 Bravo Do this thing

    ISSUE-150 Delta Do this thing

Needless to say, this is not desired.  What do I need to do to get my query to order by the fixVersion name?

Simply reorder the version by dragging and dropping in the versions panel of your project admin page.

I am having the same issue. I don't like the resolution of order them in release panel as i have 60 releases (dont ask why) to be ordered alphabetically
