New Jira view, how to add time entry for previous day

Aside from using the old view (what I'm doing now), how do I log time against the previous day when using the new view?

When using the new view to log time, I don't see a way to choose the date when using the new time entry modal.

We usually log our time for the previous day in the morning after.

The new issue view from JIRA is still a beta feature, so our developers are still working to get some features implemented on it, including the work log options available in the old issue view.

For this specific matter, we have created a feature request asking our developers to implement it:

- Ability to log work in the new issue view with details available in old issue view
