Move license between instances

We are running two JIRA instances with different size licenses. Due to organisational reasons we want to swap the licenses. Can you advise on the correct procedure?

Instance A: 25-user
Instance B: 50-user

after the switch we want to have

Instance A: 50-user
Instance B: 25-user

Bernd,

The easiest way is to swap a copy of each license to the other server.  I would copy each license to Notepad or other simple text editor then paste a copy of each license to the other JIRA instance and then click update.  This assumes you have administrator privileges.
