Make a group not selectable from the group picker while creating issue in jira

I have a group called A and want this group not to be selectable from group picker while creating an issue. Or, throw a message saying you can not select this group while creating an issue. Can we do this?

JIRA does not have that functionality but this add on has (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.keplerrominfo.jira.plugins.usergrouppicker-pro/server/overview).
