Jira core together with JIRA Software license

Hi,

I have an on premise installation with 50 JIRA Core licenses. I want to extend it by 10 users, so that all 60 users can work on the same system, but I want that the additional 10 users also have the JIRA Software capabilities. Is that possible? Do I only need to buy additional 10 JIRA Software licenses and do I need to do any updates to the system or the existing JIRA core, has also the JIRA Software functionalities.

Yes, that's exactly what you need to do.  Add 10 Software users and that's all.  No updates or changes needed (assuming you are on Jira 7 or above, and have Software added to it)
