Jira Server Setup

Joshua McLean February 22, 2017

We currently have JIRA Cloud, and are looking to switch over to our own JIRA server.

We have setup apache to handle ssl following your guides and we are getting a lot of errors:

The Attachments health check has failed in your system.

The Base URL health check has failed in your system.

The Connection settings health check has failed in your system.

JIRA is reporting that it is using the URL scheme 'http', which does not match the scheme used to run these diagnostics, 'https'

An error was encountered while updating the UPM. See the logs for more details.

I can't figure out how to solve these.

Make sure your JIRA base url has https in it. Also check the proxy settings to make sure https scheme is enabled with appropriate proxyName and proxyPort settings.

This is a handy document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver070/integrating-jira-with-apache-using-ssl-749383660.html
