Jira Portfolio 2.0 - How do I get my tickets in Portfolio 2.0 to show up in a sprint in the Project?

Kyle Mitton June 9, 2016

I brought my tickets/epics into Portfolio 2.0 - I want the tickets to show up in the project under the correct Sprint that Portfolio 2.0 created.

How can this happen?

Hey Kyle,

Firstly is the relevant board associated with a team in your plan?

On the team tab make sure you have a team associated with your board as an issue source (via the drop-down under the team name).
This will make sure that your sprint dates, sprint issue assignment and sprint names are recognised in your plan. This will also allow you to assign issues to sprints in JIRA from Portfolio which can be done in two ways:
  1. Select the specific sprint for the issue using the sprint column
  2. After your plan calculates a schedule for your sprints you can make sure they are integrated with your JIRA board. Click the sprint name and assign the calculated issues to the sprint.
You can see this process in action in this part of our demo video: https://youtu.be/LexaHkZls3g?t=976
Let me know you you have any further questions.
Cheers,
Rhys
