According to the documentation for JIRA 7, the supported and shipped version of Tomcat is 7.0.47.

According to the same document for JIRA 6.4 the version is 7.0.55.

Are we really going to be downgrading the version of Tomcat when we upgrade to JIRA 7? This despite Tomcat 8 now being on the market for 2 years?

JIRA 7 ships with Tomcat 8.0.17.

I've updated https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver070/supported-platforms-749382629.html as it was not correct smile
