JIRA board by issue type

Hello,

I am using JIRA Core on the cloud.

I want to build a JIRA project for a software-unrelated company. The project contains several issue types, each with a different workflow. For such a project, JIRA cannot display the board (which is not surprising as board columns correspond to issue statuses).

However, in such a case I would expect to have several boards, for each issue type in the project. Alas, I don't find such a capability.

Any ideas? Would it be possible in other flavors of JIRA? Is there a plugin, which provides such boards?

Correct, the business boards are very simplistic, and can't handle multiple workflows.

The Scrum and Kanban boards in JIRA Software do handle multiple workflows and let you combine status as well.  You don't have to be working with software support or development to get the benefits of boards out of them at all.
