I have been tasked with trying to use JIRA to manage large amounts of form data and nested form questions. A lot of the data will be filled in based on answers to various questions within the form. This seems to be pretty difficult to do in JIRA, even when using some of the really great plugins (like JJupin).
Does anyone have any experience wrapping JIRA issues around a form from either a XForms application (betterForm, Orbeon) or any cloud type form applications (JotForm, Wufoo, FormSite)? It seems like it makes sense to let JIRA do what it does best in managing issues, workflow, due dates, etc. And then let a form builder type application do what it does best in allowing users to dump hundreds of questions onto a form.
Thoughts or ideas?
JIRA has extensive API abilities. Many people do use JIRA to drive their processes from other applications.
