JIRA - Can you copy issues in JIRA to create a template project?

Hi

I'm trying to set up a general project board with issues as a template so that it can be copied for other future projects.

I have set up a project with the issues, however I'm not sure how to copy to a new project board.

Is this possible? If so, please can you advise how to do this?

Thanks in advance

Connie

The JIRA boards are only meant to display issues on a JIRA Project. Copying the board will not mean the issues it displays will be duplicated too.

JIRA Project Templates have been raised, discussed and ignored for quite some time now (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-7020).  There add-ons you can use but I'm not sure they are available in the cloud.
