Issue number created by issue collector

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Advanced Use of the JIRA Issue Collector

Is it possible to use javascript to retrieve the Jira issue number after the issue collector has created the new issue?

Yes it's possible.

You mean a sample code? I don't usually give sample codes but I can guide on a high level smile
