We have JIRA 6.4.12 using a Crowd 2.8.3 as a user directory.  On the Crowd side the directory a delegated authorization directory connected to Active Directory.  Some of the users are not synchronizing  properly.  In the JIRA log we get:

2015-12-11 14:23:32,614 atlassian-scheduler-quartz1.clustered_Worker-2 WARN ServiceRunner [atlassian.crowd.directory.DbCachingRemoteChangeOperations] Could not add the following entity to the directory [ Crowd Internal Directory ]: USERNAME

This is similar to CWD-4290 and https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/32025438 but (a) not using mySQL and (b) a user is the problem not a group.

So, there isn't a stack trace. There are additional messages about the number of users synchronized and about the groups synchronized and finally a message indicating that full synchronization is complete.
