Is there a way to set Start Date and End Date on a Project?

I need an option to set Start Date and End Date for the Project itself (not just Tasks - Issues), When I look at my proejcts (in Gantt view), I need to see exactly how they align date wise.

Hi,

This option does not exist in Jira but you can do it by development and you have to develop a new Gantt view chart
