Is there a way to search through a JIRA's history?

If I am assigned a JIRA, and then complete my work, then assign to another user, who then closes it later, is there a way for me to search all JIRAs that I was once assigned to?

Try this JQL:

assignee was currentUser()

[Jobin Kuruvilla [Adaptavist]]

Try WAS operator:

assignee WAS xyz

[Ignacio Pulgar]
