I've never personally used Freshdesk, but based on this documentation, it looks like you can get fairly granular with the updates sent from JIRA. Specifically the "When a comment is added in JIRA" trigger may be what you're looking for.

Thanks and I'm specifically thinking it will involve settings in the WebHooks portion of JIRA or through the groups and/or roles assigned to this new JIRA user ID we established to allow for the two way communication with Freshdesk. I do not see anything in WebHooks that provides options to connect to a group or role and wanted to ask before spending too much time researching all of the other available WebHooks options.
