Is it possible to send an e-mail where I can change my workflow?

Hello,

when I have a project with due dates, and users will receive these due date notifications, is it possible to send them an e-mail where they could change the workflow status of the issue they will receive the notification about? Say there is an issue that is due in one day, and the e-mail would include a button to change the workflow status.

There's two parts to this.

The first is that you can create a filter for "due date coming up" and subscribe to it.  That solves the "recieve due date notification"

For the link to change workflow, you need to alter the filtersubscription.vm so that it includes the transition link for each issue in there.  Start at https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira/customizing-email-content-185729653.html
