Is Jira 5.2.8 supportable with Oracle 12c

Do you have any clue that what will happen when this process is completed ?

I suspect it's going to fail.  The problem is that you're going to need a slightly more recent jdbc driver than works on the version of Java you need to run for JIRA 5.2.

It might work, but you'll need to do extensive testing with a mix of java and jdbc drivers that are not expected to work properly.

I would not bother.  I would upgrade JIRA to a supported version.
