Introduction Gadget gone in Jira cloud?

The introduction gadget is no longer available in "User interface" > "System Dashboard" > "Add gadget"  

I'm currently not able to display any custom text on our dashboard, as the Rich text gadget also failed to work.

Same problem here. Started showing GadgetError recently and can't add the gadget back in.

No other way to show text or footer.

Was working great in our cloud implementation until July 11 2016. Need to display some global information on dashboards and no other way to do it.
