Importing from Mantis creates unassigned issue type tickets

Guy Morad September 27, 2016

Attempting to migrate bugs from an existing Mantis system to a new JIRA project.

For some reason at the migration process, JIRA tries to add mantis issues as an unassigned issue type.

I know this might have something to do with the 'severity' field, during the wizard, in the 'external fields' section it says that 'severity' and 'severity as issue type' has 8 distinct values, I've tried importing with both enabled, disabled or alternated.

any tips? thanks.

Can you be more precise? I would like to know your field mapping.

  1. Severity is mapped to Severity (Custom field) in JIRA.
  2. 'severity as issue type' is mapped to 'severity as issue type' (multi select Custom field) in JIRA.

Is this correct?

What is JIRA system field 'issue type' mapped with?
