Hi
Each time I try to import CVS I get a white page, and I can't do anything else.
My CVS is ok, with not too many lines ( just one) , and I try with different browser, same thing.
may I've got some help.
Thanks
I'm getting the same problem now a year later. Using JIRA version 7.1.10. Both `Validate` and `Import` take me to a 404

Exactly the same issue on JIRA Version 7.1.7 - CSV importer's "Begin import" and "Validate" buttons both go to a 404 webpage error.
jira-importers-plugin - 7.1.6
Here's the catalina log when the 404 error appears:

Could it be an illegal character in the csv file? I've opened the csv in excel, works no problem. It's got 3 rows, and 22 columns - but I'm only importing 6 of those columns.

Hi Belinda,
A little late here, but hopefully this will help others on 7.1.7 running into the same issue:

I'm getting this problem as well. The base URL is fine, there are no blank entries in my csv, it has a header and a data line.

Same here, CSV importer's "Begin import" and "Validate" buttons both make blank white screen, and nothing happens. Tried all kinds of csv's with no luck. With and without headers. JIRA 7.1.7, java 1.8.0_92
Catalina.log prints:

I tried with different versions of JIRA : all CSV imports are OK till 7.1.2 (included), I didn't try 7.14 and 7.1.6.
But it doesn't work with 7.1.7
Thanks for your comments

Could you explain which importer you're using and make sure there's at least a header and one data line in your CSV?

Thanks for your answer.
I made a CSV file with juste two lines, first one with a header : summary, reporter and a second line with my data : example, tyty
I tried with Asana importer plugin for JIM 1.05 and after Itried with Jira-Importers-plugin 7.1.8, I got same result with both.
I'm a little confused with this two plugins, I don't know which one I have to use ?
Then, I try import from issue, and from import menu, I also got same result : white page :
I don't know, where i am wrong.
Thanks again
