If we add the Checklist plugin, and we decide to uninstall it in the future, what happens to the checklist data? Is it still visible?

Better late than never, so:

  • Checklist data is stored for 90 days after uninstallation, so you can re-install the app and see all the data.
  • Checklist data is not visible after plugin uninstallation.
  • If you want us to remove the data sooner, simply contact us and we will do so.
  • Checklist data is also stored in the Jira custom field:
    • you might use that field as a checklist backup, export it or move checklist data between Jira instances
    • you might want to delete the custom field to remove all data

That topic is also covered in our Privacy Policy: https://gebsun-support.com/privacy-policy/

Cheers,
Jack

Uninstalling the add-on will mean that the checklist data will no longer be visible to users. But that does not mean that the checklist data will be deleted. Wether or not the checklist data is deleted depends on how the add-on vendor has stored your data and how well they match the Atlassian privacy policy. I'll wait until Gebsun responds with respect to how they have built Issue Checklist.
