The boards so linked to a JIRA Core project (and not to a JIRA Software one) is part of Core Labs, and it is currently subject to certain restrictions, including:

  • Only new projects created with business project template will have access to a board

Boards are not project artefacts, they're independent of the projects.  So copying a project won't copy a board, as it's not part of the project.

You'll need to use "create new board" and probably select "from existing project"

Ah, I see. Thanks! How do I create a new board?

There should be a "create" option on the boards menu.
