How to validate if a JIRA URL is still valid?

Do we have any APIs which tells if the JIRA urls we have are still valid? I have got plenty of JIRA links (issues) created in the past, but don't know what' their status is. So this is something reconciliation work I'm doing.

It's a lot more effort to try to work out if something might be valid than to simply test it.  Run through your list and hit it with a curl script - no error, it's valid.

Cool. I will find out how I can get list of all issues and hence the URLs. TA
