We have 5 scrum teams and I am playing the role of Release engineer. We recently had a Release planning event and put up a Release board something similar like this http://www.boost.co.nz/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/Release-Planning-PSI-Program-Plan.png
Each scrum team is creating Epic and mapping all the User stories to the Epic.
Is there a way in JIRA to aggregate all the epics from all 5 Scrum boards into a Common Release board and maintain the dependencies between them.
Create a filter for "epic link in (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)" and use that as the basis for a board.
Thanks for responding Nic.
I tried the below
"Epic Link" in ("JIRA PROJECT 1", "JIRA PROJECT 2", "JIRA PROJECT 3")
but am getting this error
•No issues have a parent epic with key or name 'JIRA PROJECT 1'
•No issues have a parent epic with key or name 'JIRA PROJECT 2'
•No issues have a parent epic with key or name 'JIRA PROJECT 3'
While I am trying to figure it out, thought I would ask you.
Thanks again
BTW, Am trying to filter the epics alone (which are in turn mapped to User stories) from 5 different JIRA projects from 6 Sprints planned for upcoming release, on the SoS board.
