How to set "Internal workflow" status that customer cannot see?

Need to set a workflow status Let's talk that shows as In Progress to customers.

 

(Setting priority to Urgent since this is a live customer service desk for 2 customers of ours)

Hello,

You can join multiple statuses in Jira into one status, which is available for customer in the portal.
