How to make a custom field value to non-clickable (hyperlink) while user accessing the system in JIRA(Not confluence).

 

I have tried to alter "wiki renderer" type to "default text renderer" and tested, but still the link is displaying as"URL "(Eg:https://example.com).

 

Could you please know your input.

 

Version used is JIRA 6.4

The idea come up to my head is to use Banner and custom javascript that will parse certain pages and replace <a href='#'...></a> with <span></span>

 

P.S. You can user jquery
