How to extract data from JIRA into excel format (XSL) not CSV format

Previously I am able to download data from JIRA into excel spreadsheet not CSV. There is a slight difference between those two formats. Certain fields info was not captured in CSV format. See below example:

Field Name – ‘Summary’

Example:

Value extracted earlier via Excel (All fields options) :  TMLSU-3 Premium Refund Payment - when FL/S/SB account is positive

Value extracted now via CSC (All fields options) : Premium Refund Payment - when FL/S/SB account is positive

Master ticket no ‘TMLSU-3’ is missing from summary description extracted value.

Which version of JIRA you have? because in JIRA version 7 i can see Excel Export Option

Better Excel Plugin can export you XLS, XLSX and even XLSM (VBA macro enchanced spreadsheet) files.

If by "AWS cloud" you mean that your are running JIRA Server on an EC2 instance, then it will work. (If you are using JIRA Cloud, then it is not available for that yet.)

the version is 7.3.1.

yes I am able to see the excel format previously however after some migration last weekend from our company cloud into AWS cloud I cannot see the excel option any more.
