How to check the value of "Estimated" time, summarized and displayed in the main ticket

Hi there,

I would like to ask you about the variable, which hold the aggregated info from Estimate time, given in the sub-tasks and presented in the Estimated time in the main ticket. I want to be able, using the JQL, to check if this value is zero/empty or not. Thus to know that in the sub-tasks, related field has value or not. Currently the intellisence in the advanced search shows me the estimated time as a parameter, but looks like it is the one related to the main ticket(the parent). And on one hand it is empty. On other hand in the same ticket, in the GUI, the Estimated time shows some value, which as I said, is sum of the aggregated values from the related sub-tasks.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,
Stephan

Could you please explain what is the meaning of Sigma time? I am not familiar with it.

Be sure you're using the sigma time in JIRA  - it's the roll up of all the associated estimates and actuals.
