How to bulk edit components

I am using the bulk edit feature, but I do not see an option to add components to a bulk set of tickets.

Can you make sure that you meet the following criteria to Bulk Edit Components:

  • Selected issues belong to one project, and that project has component/s
  • This field is not hidden in any field configurations the selected issues belong to
  • Current user has 'edit issue' permission for all the selected issues

Had the same issue today and it helped, thanks for it.

Selected issues belong to one project

 

That was the issue. They spanned multiple projects. Once I filtered by project it worked.
