How to auto generate dashboards/filters on my projects

I work on several projects for which I need similar dashboards and therefore need similar filters eg.

  • Project x
    • Project x Filter : Project=x and component in (aa, bb, cc)
  • Project y
    • Project y Filter : Project=y and component in (aa, bb, cc)

So instead of manualy creating the same filter and dashboards I would like to auto generate them e.g. when the project is created - how (if possible) can this be done?

  1. Create base filter with all params without condition to a project: component in (aa, bb, cc)
  2. Get id of this filter
  3. Then for each project create filter = "insert id here" and project = x

Another option: use cross-table gadjet with project on one of axises.
