How to add an existing Epic Issue to the board instead of creating new one?

You just need to make sure that your board's filter includes the Epics you want to show.

Thanks. My filter was not including the epics I was looking for.

Also, if your using Sprints, make sure the EPIC is assigned to the active sprint.
